Development Competition Day – 2nd Sept

Yes it is only a few weeks away, but come and enjoy this event as a start to the Autumn season

We are holding a social Development Competition day – something a bit different and very much in the style of a day that Joan Mason would have approved of (if you don’t know this lady… in her time Joan was the region’s secretary, chair and president who died recently)

This is an adult day, sorry it is not geared to our u16s – see the Development Day on 23rd September if you are a youngster

In the morning there will be some training, a buffet lunch will then be provided and then we are planning a competition for each weapon.

The competition will take the form of a poule-unique for each weapon.

We want this to be a social event and the winners will each be getting a bottle of wine so that you can go home and toast Joan’s memory

In addition, David Litchfield has kindly agreed to come along.  He is a great armourer, should you wish to pick his brains, and he is coming to provide a PAT Testing service for club/coach equipment.  If you want equipment tested we would appreciate you emailing ‘’ in advance with an idea of what you plan to bring. Just to let you know, there will be a very small charge for each item.

We are holding this at:

St Gabriel’s School
Sandleford Priory
Newton Rd
RG20 9BD

The cost to attend the day is £18, this includes lunch and competition entry

We plan to start at 10am and finish around 4pm, dependent on numbers
